People and leadership development

The ward manager who was part of the team only yesterday. The senior physician who is responsible for training junior doctors for the first time. The head of nursing for a department who suddenly leads several teams. In healthcare, most people move into a leadership role through their professional expertise, not through leadership training.

We support leaders through this demanding transition. As sparring partners, we provide orientation when roles, expectations and responsibilities have to be redefined. How do you hold conversations that nobody likes to have? How do you stand behind decisions you did not make yourself? How does leadership succeed under high pressure and with scarce staff resources?

Our programmes strengthen leadership skills, self-efficacy and collaboration across professional groups. They can be designed as a development programme over several months, a series of workshops or individual support.

Organisational development & change communication

Mergers, reorganisations, new leadership models, the introduction of IT systems or strategic realignments change more than structures and processes.

Whether change succeeds is decided by people: by roles, responsibilities, communication and collaboration. We support organisations in development and change projects and, with effective change communication, create orientation, trust and involvement.

We work systemically. This means we look at the interplay of people, structures and culture. We make visible what everyone knows and nobody says, and help organisations to develop solutions that are understood, supported and put into practice.

03

Team coaching

Change often presents teams with new challenges. Roles shift, expectations change and collaboration stalls.

When teams cannot make progress on their own, an impetus from outside often helps. We help to resolve tensions, strengthen trust and regain the ability to act together. This creates the basis for carrying change together and shaping it successfully.

Workshops

New solutions rarely arise in a single mind. They need a space in which people think, discuss and decide together.

Our workshops provide structure, ensure participation and create clarity about the next steps. With suitable methods, practical exercises and a clear process, we move teams from thinking to acting.

Facilitation & keynote talks

Conferences, retreats, leadership days or workshops have an impact when people are involved, inspired and invited into dialogue.

We facilitate events with structure, momentum and a clear view of the goal. In addition, keynote talks open up new perspectives, provide orientation on complex topics and offer food for thought that lasts beyond the occasion.

Whether leadership, collaboration, communication, change or healthcare: our contributions are adapted to the audience, the topic and the objectives.

Board and foundation board mandates

Healthcare faces profound challenges: skills shortages, economic pressure, digitalisation and increasing regulatory requirements call for strategic clarity and responsible leadership.

Monika Wiedemeijer brings over 25 years of experience in healthcare as well as sound expertise in communication, organisational development and change processes. In board of directors and foundation board mandates, she combines strategic thinking with a deep understanding of the people who sustain organisations.

She is particularly interested in hospitals, clinics, healthcare providers, patient organisations, foundations and non-profit institutions that want to actively shape their future.
